Overview
MixSet helps you create playlists for Apple Music. This policy explains what information MixSet may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use MixSet, we may collect:
- Playlist prompts, preferences, and settings you enter into the app.
- Playlist names, track selections, and edits you make while creating playlists.
- Apple Music authorization status needed to connect the app to your Apple Music account.
- Basic app usage and diagnostic information, such as feature interactions, crash logs, device type, and app version.
- Support messages you send to us, including your contact information if you choose to provide it.
Apple Music
MixSet may request access to Apple Music so it can search music, recommend tracks, and save playlists to your library when you choose to do so. MixSet does not receive your Apple ID password. Your use of Apple Music is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, refine, and save playlists based on your prompts and preferences.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve MixSet.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important app updates.
- Understand which features are useful and where the app can be improved.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate MixSet, when required by law, to protect users or the app, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide MixSet, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain app security. You may delete playlists from Apple Music using Apple Music controls. You may contact us to request deletion of personal information where applicable.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can choose whether to grant Apple Music access. You can revoke app access through your device or Apple account settings. You may also contact us with privacy questions or requests.
Children's Privacy
MixSet is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
